Mountain Bike and Trekking guided trips
Hiking in Peninsula Valdes
Hiking is considered the most popular, accessible and friendly activity with the environment. All of us can be part of this activity, considering that it is not necessary to have any specific skill. Peninsula Valdes offers us the perfect scenery to practice it without risks. As soon as we leave Puerto Piramides we find ourselves surrounded by nature, walking in guanacos’ paths, and edge of cliffs, among marine fossils of millions of years, where we could watch the Southern Right Whales, and enjoy stunning views of Puerto Piramides bay
FULL DAY EXCURSIONS
Departing from Puerto Piramides, this is a walk where we will go to Los Molinos beach, scale cliffs, walk in guanacos´ paths, get into marine caves, walk on restingas, and get to natural pools and some of the best places for practising snorkelling. Later we arrive at Playa Pardelas a magical river-stone beach, with deep and clear waters, where we could enjoy whales with their calves close to the coast. In summer, prepare yourself to enjoy baths in its natural pools. This is a trip that will leave you speechless due to the beauty of the place and its surroundings. We will interpret the geology of the place and then return to Puerto Piramides.
San Jose Gulf :
We arrive by car to Larralde beach, visit the local fishermen and after that start our walk to Playa Blanca (named this way due to the amount of clam shells that the sea deposits on its shore). There we will watch different species of birds. After that we will go pass through Playa Larralde, where we will visit the settlement of fishermen or “marisqueros”. An incredible place where a few families develop this activity thanks to what the sea offers to them. We continue to Playa Villarino and Cañadon Encantado, where you could cycle and be aware of the passing of time, through the different traces of geological eras, finding in our way marine fossils, dating of millions of years ago, when the sea covered Peninsula Valdes. Being this a coastal tour, it is the ideal trip to be in company of right whales. We will also visit a small sea lions colony. As we cycle, we will have on one side the coast and on the other the typical Patagonian steppe with lots of guanacos, maras and choiques.

HALF A DAY EXCURSIONS
Punta Pirámides sea lions colony: Our first destiny is the sea lions colony of Punta Piramides, where from a cliff we could watch the colony that in reproductive and birth season (from December to February) is densely populated and with a lot of activity. We could enjoy amazing views of the bay, and when coming back go down a little beach all along a cliff with the best landscapes of the place at your feet. Cañadones, marine fossils of millions of years, highly eroded and huge cliffs and an ideal beach to enjoy wonderful summer baths are the main attractions of this trekking.
Dunes and caves: we depart from Puerto Piramides and go pass through an Italian immigrant cemetery of people who worked in the town with the salt used at the beginning of the XX century by the first settlers. Then we go towards the dunes and walk around places where Tehuelches (aboriginal tribe) used to stay to eat. We will enjoy excellent views of the bay from the cliffs, Molinos beach and then finally back to Puerto Piramides
Pardelas beach: we get to Pardelas by car, and then we start trekking on “restingas” and cliffs to a place called Punta Pardelas. This place is considered the most beautiful beach in Peninsula Valdes, a magical river-stone beach, with deep and clear waters, where we could enjoy whales with their calves close to the coast. In summer, prepare yourself to enjoy baths in its natural pools. This is a trip that will leave you speechless due to the beauty of the place and its surroundings. NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS MOMENT
